Wiggling Tails was founded on a simple belief: pets deserve experienced, thoughtful care from people who take the time to know them as individuals.
For 15 years, we built and operated Wiggling Tails in the San Francisco Bay Area, providing professional dog walking, daycare and boarding services to the families who trusted us with their dogs.
In 2026, we began a new chapter.
We relocated our home and Wiggling Tails to Queen Creek, Arizona, bringing 15 years of professional pet care experience with us and creating a smaller, more personal approach to boarding and pet sitting.
Wiggling Tails is owned and operated by husband and wife team Martha and Michael, who transitioned from careers in higher education to build a professional pet care business centered around safety, relationships, reliability and a genuine love of animals.

From the Bay Area to Queen Creek
Our years in the Bay Area gave us the opportunity to care for hundreds of dogs and build lasting relationships with their families.
We operated dog walking routes, professional daycare and boarding services, learning firsthand how different dogs communicate, socialize, play, relax and respond to new environments.
After 15 years, we decided it was time for Wiggling Tails to evolve along with us.
Our move to Queen Creek gave us the opportunity to create a different kind of pet care business. One that is intentionally smaller, more personal and centered around caring for pets in a home environment.
Today, Wiggling Tails provides homestyle dog boarding at our Queen Creek home and professional in home pet sitting throughout Queen Creek, Chandler, Gilbert and San Tan Valley.
15 Years of Hands On Experience
Experience matters when someone else is responsible for your pets.
Over 15 years of professional pet care, we have worked with dogs of different ages, personalities, play styles and energy levels.
That experience has taught us to pay attention to the details.
We get to know the dogs and pets in our care, recognize their routines and personalities, supervise their interactions and notice when something seems different.

Our previous careers and backgrounds in public administration, business, information systems and higher education also influence how we operate Wiggling Tails.
We believe professional pet care should be organized, dependable and thoughtfully managed.
A Home, Not a Traditional Boarding Facility
Our Queen Creek boarding service is intentionally small.
Dogs stay in our home with us, our personal dogs and a limited number of compatible boarding guests.
Our one acre property includes a large, securely fenced grass yard where dogs have room to run, play, explore and sniff.
Outdoor time is supervised, and dogs are not left outside for extended periods. They spend time outside with us for play and exploration and come inside to relax, rest and become part of our household.
Because dogs share our home, we carefully evaluate new boarding dogs to make sure they are comfortable around other dogs and are a good fit for our environment.
We are not trying to recreate a large daycare or traditional boarding kennel.
We intentionally chose something smaller.
Professional Care in Your Home, Too
We understand that boarding is not the right choice for every pet.
Some pets are happiest at home, surrounded by their own beds, smells, routines and familiar environment.
Our professional pet sitting service brings the same experience and attention to your home, providing care for pets throughout Queen Creek, Chandler, Gilbert and San Tan Valley.
Whether your dog stays with us or your pets stay at home, our philosophy remains the same.
